2 Scales are plugged into the station. 1 scale is being used at a time, the other is switched off. The serial type for both ports was "Scale", which allows for the automatic USB Hub Reset to be triggered. Because only a single scale is online at a time, the controller periodically resets the USB Hub, due to "possible comms issues". To disable the automatic reset when only one scale is in use, set the serial type for both ports to "Scale NR" (NR = No Reset). "Scale" is used for the likes of Receiving controllers, where comms with a hopper must remain online at all times, and an automatic reset must be performed if there is a loss in comms.
